I firstly have to say how grateful we are for all the calls
and emails. You like our site! In fact, you love our site!
I wanted to quote people, but I was always jotting down
their platitudes on post-it notes and backs of envelopes,
and then I really didn't ask their permission anyway. We
like your feedback, too. You notice how quickly I got on
the offsetting problem? My task is to make it as easy as
possible for you to be successful in your business with our
cards. We love you all for such a resounding response!
Interestingly, in just two weeks time we have nearly sold
out of three titles! So, well, yes, we like the orders too.
That was the whole idea. Incidentally, the most popular
card so far - "Rhinos In Love". It used to be the "Hole in
One". What is this country coming to?
Salute-ations
is now available online, including the 2001 Card of the
Year, conferred by the national Greeting Card Association!
You've never seen patriotic cards like these, and neither
have your clients or their customers! Be sure and check out
the three 3-panel cards. Really special! Everyone can send
a birthday card, but why not stand out in the crowd?

Offsetting!
Everybody's nightmare. I talked to a couple of techies at
hp and the problem is inherent in the laser technology and
something hp (and presumably others) are trying to solve.
There is NO stock that will not exhibit some degree of
offsetting when the cards go through the postal automatic
cancellation process. Besides the hand canceling described
on our site, we now offer three qualities of overlay papers
- bond, brights and vellum. You will find them in the Bare
Bones Collection section.
Sales + Specials
Do check out this section as the "Life" card which you got
in your mailing will only be offered at this great website
celebration price through the end of May. I also love the
"Charge" card, so good for retailers like Chicos who keep
an extensive database of customers and already send out
birthday greetings. This one will be available while
supplies last.

Our site doesn't work well on MACS yet - the Cards + Copy
page you link to from all sorts of places on the site is
broken no matter what browser you use. That's an important
site because you can read all the copy we've written in one
place. One Client Connection licensee told me she went to
bed with her lap top over several nights and read every
last one. The bonus was she got ideas for client categories
she had never approached!
Even if you're on a PC, Safari and Internet Explorer are
the best browsers to use.
The remarkablecard.com email is also working sporadically
so feel free to email me at pat@palmerkane.com until it's
fixed.
We will be closed April 30 through May 2. Normally, we
would have this covered but it couldn't be arranged and we
desperately need a couple days R&R. You absolutely can call
me on my cell (but given New England's dislike of cell
towers who knows if my cell will ring in the Berkshires) on
my cell phone 203-644-5123.
And when you call our toll-free and get voice mail, you get
a recording of a nice young man (he's the one on the left
in both the "mud boys" card and the "bubble boy" card)
saying "Palmer/Kane Studio. It's another gaff we haven't
been able to fix.
